Tubular polyester lanyards: Tubular polyester is made from the same material as plain polyester it's just manufactured in a different way. To create it, two layers of polyester are combined together with a space left between them. The resulting effect is a heavier lanyard with more thickness. Unlike plain polyester, tubular polyester is only offered in two widths: 0.4in (1.0cm) and 0.6in (1.5cm). Also, it's only compatible with silk-screen printing.
Silk-screen custom lanyards:
We recommend silk-screen lanyards for low quantity orders of 1000 lanyards or less. For small volume orders, silk-screen has many advantages over the other methods.
Here are some things to know about silk-screen printing:
- Silk-screen is compatible with all material types.
- The mold charge for silk-screen is the least expensive, and it takes only a day to make.
- If a logo design has more than 3 colors, the mold charge will increase.
- Each additional color in the design will add to the unit cost of the lanyard.
